Mondo hails from Samoa, the genial giant on his way to becoming a sumo wrestler in Japan before a knee injury curtailed his career. His mutant ability to take on the properties of physical objects complicated his treatment, and he was shipped to Xavier's for powers training. Almost childlike in comparison to his more cynical and sophisticated peers, Mondo was unable to cope with the stresses of life at Xavier's, and following the mass kidnappings of 2007, he returned home to Samoa for the vacation to regroup. It was decided better for him to remain, however his need for training remains and perhaps in time he will choose to return to the school and the friends he left behind.


X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and we accept new characters as well as encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.
